Individual Orphan Sponsorship Programs

Orphan Angel Sponsorship

We receive many requests to help Orphans in US shelters, whose owners or family members did not plan for their continued care.  Most of these Orphans are in shelters facing death row.

BlueMoon tries to help these Orphans through our Orphan Angel program.  You will see a request for help for these pets on the home page of our website.   With public donations we receive and your Orphan Angel sponsorship, we as many as we can into our program.

Please note, sometimes we will request help for an Orphan on our website and the Orphan finds a home or other rescue.    In this case, the sponsorship may be applied to another Orphan in need or another fund raising program.

AMOUNTS:    25 , 50, 75 , 100 OR OTHER.

Family and Friends Sponsorship

This program is for the friends or family of a pet lover who has recently passed away.  It provides a secure alternative for the family or friends who are unable to provide a loving home for the orphaned pet.   Family and Friends provide an agreed amount of sponsorship for a specific Orphan.   It varies by Orphan, availability of space at one of our Helping Hands Boarding facilities, or foster homes.   Orphans entrusted to BlueMoon Meadows are provided with LIFETIME care.

Currently, this program depends on the Orphans ability to participate in our private adoption service.  Our private adoption service provides lifetime solutions for each Orphans emotional and physical needs. All forever homes are extensively assessed for compatibility.  Orphans adopted into a private home maintain their lifelong resident status. This means if for any reason the adopted family can no longer keep the Orphan, he or she is returned to BlueMoon.

Because You Care Sponsorship

This program is for owners who would like to secure a guaranteed reservation for their pet , in case of their death.   Enrollment is this program guarantees you will receive peace of mind knowing that your beloved companions will continue to receive tender loving care.  Your pet’s lifetime care can be paid through trusts, life insurance policies, and most types of Will bequests.
