This program is for the friends or family of a pet lover who has recently passed away.  It provides a secure alternative for the family or friends who are unable to provide a loving home for the orphaned pet.   The Friends and Family Program requires an enrollment fee to offset the Orphans lifetime costs. An outright payment at the time of enrollment is required.  This fee varies by Orphan, availability of space at one of our Helping Hands Boarding facilities, or foster homes.  Orphans entrusted to BlueMoon Meadows are provided with LIFETIME care.   

Currently, this program depends on the Orphans ability to participate in our private adoption service.  Our private adoption service provides lifetime solutions for each Orphans emotional and physical needs. All forever homes are extensively assessed for compatibility and periodic follow-ups with the Orphan's new family are routinue. Orphans adopted into a private home maintain their lifelong resident status. This means if for any reason the adopted family can no longer keep the Orphan, he or she is returned to BlueMoon.

When The Lodge at Blue Moon Meadows is operational, we will be able to help Orphans that are not able to be adopted into another home.  These Orphans will be permanent family members of The Lodge at BlueMoon Meadows.
