Meet Pesky
Pesky and Papi arrived safely on Mother's day. They are with their foster homes and adjusting to the transition. It was a long and emotional day for them and their owner who had to bid them a tearful goodbye. It was a very sad a long goodbye. Their mom has Multiple Sclerosis and must move to an assisted living place, where Pesky and Papi are not permited. She has entrusted BlueMoon to find new loving homes for her fur children.
Pesky is in great health, friendly, and very sweet. It is obvious that they are loved and well cared for companions.
they are both 3 yrs old. Pesky is a 3 1/2 yr old male. They need some time to adjust and are missing their mom. They are getting lots of love and emotional support to help them.
They are up-to-date with their vaccinations and altered. We will post more info on them ASAP. The transfer has been a real emotional upheavel and we are receiving more details from their mom when she is able to discuss the transition. This information will help us in finding their new homes.
May 17, 2006 Update from Pesky's foster home.
Pesky is as sweet as he is adorable! Don't let the name fool you! He has only been with us a few days now, but during that time we have learned that he loves attention - whether that be petting, brushing or simply talking to him. Belly rubs just put him over the moon. He has a very healthy appetite and his house manners are great. He did have a few "accidents" the first day, but t
hat often happens during the initial adjustment period. He is crate trained, not much of a barker and loves every person he meets instantly. He is a gentleman on the leash and a joy to walk. In the house he is quite calm and enjoy laying by the window and watching the world go by. Outside he enjoys a good run in our fenced in yard and is more than willing to play when invited to do so.
As with all of our dogs, Pesky is up to date on all health care needs and is neutered. The only less than wonderful thing about this guy is his dislike of male dogs in his territory. Therefore he should either be placed with his sister Papi another submissive female, or as an only dog.

Pesky has an interested approved applicant and has moved into our foster-to-adopt program. If he not the perfect fit for his FTA family, he will become available for adoption. WE ARE NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS ON HIM AT THIS TIME.
