Meet Jango : 4-24-06

Jengo, 2 yr old Yellow Lab, was impacted by the tornados that blew through Missouri, many people and many pets were impacted by this. The local shelters in the area are full and overflowing and they are not getting help from rescues, unlike the Katrina pets.

Blue Moon decided that we needed to help these dogs, as they have already starting to put them down.

Jengo arrived safely to BlueMoon and has been placed in our new Foster-to-Adopt program (FTA) .

If he not the perfect fit for his FTA family, he will become available for adoption.

Jengo Foster to Adopt home has decided to adopt him. Congratulations to the happy family.

Jengo FTA family has decided to adopt him. What a great picture!

His 8 year old owner, Alison, is so happy with Jengo, she wrote a letter to BlueMoon thanking us.  It bring tears to our eyes...this is why we do what we do!

Dear Dee,

Jengo is being very well behaved with his new family. Even though Jengo has been sent to the crate every now and then.And he loves sleeping on my bed every night. But one time my dad was walking Jengo and Jengo saw a snake and Jengo killed it! And sometimes when Jengo is in our backyard when you throw his ball Jengo will run around our pool very fast and then he will go to the bathroom.And he loves to eat cheese.
