Daisy

Daisy is the mom of the Long Island Group. We were told she was adopted from a shelters when she was young. Before she could be altered the resident Boxer (who deaseased now) had an "encountered" that results in six puppies. Daisy mom did not have the heart to give the puppies out and Daisy was allowed to raise her family right in her home. None of the puppies left home!

Daisy is a 7-8 year old Lab and Shepherd mix. She extremely affectionate and gentle, like most moms. She is very good with other dogs and cats. She is very easy to walk on a leash and has great house manners. Her dream family would be a person that was home most of the day. Daisy has a huge heart with many years of love and devotion to give. She is fine with other dogs or by herself. She sort of a "go with the flow" girl and travels well. She has been provided the best veterinarian care her whole life. Her health and manners are excellent. She would be fine with an elderly person. Daisy has moved to a foster home. More info soon.

Jan 2. 2007 update

Miss Daisy is a wonderful girl! She loves to lay beside me on the couch and is content to be there ALL day. If she's not on the couch she's lying at my feet. She goes out to play without a fuss but would prefer to be inside cuddling. Despite being a pack of dogs at feeding time, there is no food aggression with anyone. Whoever walks to the dish first is the first one to eat and the others just wait patiently. She could care less about Bob (cat) and just watches him go! Shannon 0:)
