8-20-06 JUST ARRIVED- Zoey is an 11 mo old female Jack Russell/Sheltie mix. She and her other playmate lost their home when their owner was killed in a car accident. Zoey's buddy found a new home, but Zoey was being temp fostered by a kind person, through the local shelter, but alas, she was moving and could not keep her long. That is when Blue Moon stepped in.
Zoey only just arrived on Sat, and she will need to be spayed, her appointment is set up for this Tuesday. She seems to be mostly housetrained, and will whine when she needs to go outside. She does well with all three of my dogs. She likes to walk on the leash and enjoys catching bugs, and is pretty good at it !!! She plays hard, but is very affectionate when she has had her exercise. Zoey weighs about 13 lbs and should not get any bigger. She is still a puppy, but she is very smart, and responds very well to any corrections, as she really wants to please you.
I will know more about her after she has been here a little longer, but she is up to date on her distemper/parvo and rabies, she will need to be spayed and given her bordatello, and wormed, which we will take care of this Tuesday.
She is already on flea prevention and heart worm prevention. Her pictures do not do her justice, she is sooo soft and has such an adorable sweet face and expression and just a real sweetheart .
APPROVED APPLICANTS- After her spay, Zoey is eligible for the Foster-To- Adopt (FTA) program. FTA family must have someone home during the day.
